MESSAGE
Messages from Graduates
She aspires to work in the airline industry because of her admiration for former CA teachers.
Every day we deliver Japanese hospitality to people around the world.
After graduating from high school, I went on to a four-year university to study nutrition, but I wanted to acquire the skills necessary for the hospitality industry, so I attended an open campus at Kanda Institute of Languages. I met a teacher of this course and was attracted by her personality and decided to enroll. In order to overcome my weakness in English, I willingly spoke up in class, went to ECL (see p. 107) every day, and consciously increased speaking opportunities. As a result, I was able to overcome my weakness in English, and each CA at ANA uses his or her strengths to provide hospitality. There was a time when I suggested sake that went well with a meal to a customer who was trying Japanese food for the first time, and he was very pleased. I feel more joy than ever when I am able to help people from overseas enjoy Japanese culture. I would like to continue to broaden my knowledge and increase my customer service skills. I am in charge of both domestic and international flights, but my favorite place to stay is Brussels, Belgium, where the beautiful cityscape soothes my soul. On flights with many overseas passengers, I have many opportunities to make use of the languages I have learned. Every day is a series of new encounters, and I am conscious of this every day so that I can warm up the atmosphere on site by talking to customers and crew members myself. The ability to take action on my own, which I developed at Kanda Institute of Languages, has been very useful in my current job. It has helped me a lot in my current job.
