Messages from Graduates
He has worked for a major advertising production company and the world's largest foreign e-commerce site.
Currently, he is solely responsible for PR activities at a start-up company.
I was an amateur musician in the United States for three years after graduating from high school. I wanted to put a stop to my music activities and obtain business-oriented qualifications and English language skills in the shortest possible time, so I enrolled in the newly established Department of Business Administration. During my time as a student, I spent many days immersed in study. In addition to a huge amount of assignments, the graduation requirement of "TOEIC? 800 points" helped me grow a lot. After graduation, I worked for a major advertising production company. I was also posted to Shanghai for several years, where I was involved in advertising production for global companies. What was useful in making proposals to numerous overseas clients were the English presentation skills I developed in the department. After that, I changed jobs to the world's largest foreign e-commerce site. This seemed to be a rare case of hiring a technical college graduate. The official language in the company was English, and I worked on advertising while honing my language skills more. After a few years, I felt that I wanted to gain experience in a small company while being involved in the overall management, and this is when I came across CRISP Inc. CRISP is a company that operates CRISP SALAD WORKS, a specialty custom salad shop. Currently in charge of all marketing activities, from product development to PR and promotions, my goal is to promote DX-ization, to dispel the negative image of the restaurant industry in Japan, and to grow CRISP into a brand known by all. The English language skills, logical thinking, and ability to face challenges that I learned at Kanda Institute of Foreign Languages. Looking back on my career to date, these have definitely been at the core of who I am.
